Position: Fixed-term contract – 3 months, full time. Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week.
Salary: £30 – 35k FTE
An opportunity has arisen for a Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s busy manufacturing team in Ringwood, on a fixed-term basis for 3 months.
The successful candidate will be responsible for revising and updating all production Standard Operating Procedures to outline requirements and timeframes for routine and corrective maintenance activity and audits. You will ideally have a background in engineering and must have previous experience of writing SOPs and reports; ensuring consistency, clarity, and quality.
Outline requirement for all routine maintenance activity on both plant and infrastructure
Participation in meetings as required
Writing SOPs for the maintenance of all factory equipment
Working with technicians to identify preventative maintenance activity requirements and front-line asset care
Undertake Failure Mode Analysis of plant and equipment
Quality checking work to ensure consistency and continuity across documents
Clear understanding of safety regulations
Commitment to the company’s core pillars and values
A strong understanding of preventative and reactive maintenance in a manufacturing setting
Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to record data accurately
Previous experience of creating policy and procedure documentation
Reliable, self-disciplined and a team player
